I am excited to announce that the Preservation Action Foundation named me an Advocacy Scholar for this year. I am thrilled by for the recognition and honored to have my bio up on their website.
I hope it goes without saying that my views and editorial comments on this blog are not at all representative of Preservation Action, though I look forward to working restlessly for National Historic Preservation Advocacy Week in Washington. It will actually be my first time “working The Hill,” despite doing a government summer program at Georgetown back in high school.
I especially look forward to lending my experience with affordable housing and community revitalization in the Midwest, and helping historic preservation make inroads with equity planning. Again, this blog is not to be construed with me being “on message.”
