Screen Shot 2018-05-24 at 12.43.33 PMAbout Me:

Grew up in Oklahoma and Texas

Currently living in Columbus

Consistently involved in school/community leadership activities

Oklahoma State undergrad, Go Pokes! (2012)

Ohio State MCRP, Go Bucks! (2016)

Worked in Oklahoma City, Cleveland, Akron, and Columbus

Worked for Census, campus study abroad office, AmeriCorps, urban planning think tank, neighborhood development corporation, tax credit syndicator, and a public-private partnership consultancy

Currently working for a real estate financial institution, not to be named and whose views I do not represent, though I doubt either are out of alignment or very controversial

Views are informed from technical “policy wonk” experience and witness innumerable missed development opportunities

I thoroughly believe in making unprofitable concepts work; or better, profitable

I also believe that most for-profit and financial interests want that too

Former editor, The Daily O’Collegian

Frequently guilty of being loquacious

I really don’t care about tribal Republican/Democrat politics; it’s all a side-show for the cover-up

AmeriCorps alum (Cleveland Restoration, Historic Preservation in America’s Legacy Cities conference)

Ohio State thesis on emerging best practices in public-private partnerships for transit-oriented development

Favorite quote: “Nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come,” Victor Hugo
